Qmetrics CTO, José Tamez-Peña at the Sports Neuropsychology Society’s 10th Annual Concussion Symposium

In April 2022, Qmetrics’ Chief Technology Officer, José Tamez-Peña and Chief Operating Officer, Patricia González, attended the Sports Neuropsychology Society’s 10th Annual Concussion Symposium in Dallas, Texas, to present a poster, “MRI-based Post-Concussive Syndrome (PCS) Index: No Differences Between Athletes and Non-Athletes.” Authors of the poster are members of the Qmetrics team and medical and research professionals from the University of Rochester Medical Center.

The poster evaluated differences in patients with post-concussive syndrome from sports-related versus non-sports related mTBI applying a machine-learning algorithm on MRI data.

Qmetrics and URMC look forward to continued collaborations and presenting any new findings.
